1. The Fall of Ellen Degeneres 

In 2020, rumors started surfacing about the celebrity whose show’s entire purpose was to spread kindness and happiness. These rumors were about Ellen mistreating her employees, sexual harassment claims and under the garb of being funny, her using bullying tactics on her guests, and asking condescending questions. A year after these rumors, Ellen announced that her show will no longer continue. 

2. Tristan Thompson Cheating On Khloe Kardashian

Rumors were going around for a good few months about the NBA star cheating on Khloe Kardashian with an old friend of Kylie Jenner, Jordyn Woods. The Kardashians tweeted about Jordyn being responsible for the couple splitting up, posing her as the villain. 

Jordyn however, knowing the insides of how the Kardashians work, secured an interview with Red Table Talk to tell her side of the story, gaining public support while Khole tweeted during the middle of her interview calling Jordyn a liar. Khloe, as a result, started receiving public criticism for not holding Tristan accountable for his actions and putting the entire blame on Jordyn instead. 

3. Britney Spears Conservatorship Battle

Britney Spears' father was given major control over her finances and life by a judge in 2008 while she continued to perform as a famous pop star. Multiple fans wondered why she didn’t have the freedom to make decisions for herself. But according to her father, it was to protect her from her mental health episodes, and that she had the freedom to cancel the conservatorship whenever she wanted to. 

In 2019, Britney went on a hiatus and in a closed-door hearing stated that she has been forced into a mental health facility against her will and how the conservatorship went against her personal wishes, being oppressive towards her rights and finally, in November 2021, Mr. Spears was immediately suspended by the court as her conservator!

4. The Taylor Swift and Kanye West Feud

The feud between these two celebrities is over 10 years old! It started in 2009 when Kanye interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech for the Best Female Music Video category for her song “You Belong With Me”, insisting that Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” deserved the award instead. 

There was constant back and forth between these two over the years, and in 2016 Kanye came out with his song “Famous”, which had the controversial lyrics "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that b*tch famous." which Taylor denied was released with her approval which was made worse when Kanye included a naked Taylor in the song’s very controversial music video.

Then Kim Kardashian, Kanye’s wife, came out with clips of the phone call between the two on her Snapchat which implied Taylor gave her approval for the lines on the song. 

Then Taylor came out with “Look What You Made Me Do” which supposedly targeted  Kanye and the entire episode. 

In March 2020, someone leaked the full 2016 phone call between the two in which Taylor sounded hesitant about quite a few things, and hadn’t been told about the ‘b*tch’ lyric, proving that Taylor was, in fact, never lying about her not being on board with Kanye’s song. 

5. The Madonna and Britney Spears VMAs kiss

In 2003, back when a simple make-out session between two female celebrities could make the headlines run wild, Britney Spears and Madonna set the media on fire during the MTV Video Music Awards. This happened during the performance of Madonna’s iconic song “Like a Virgin’s” with Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. Madonna went on to kiss both of them however, her kiss with Britney Spears was definitely way steamier. The kiss went viral and is still brought up to be one of the most scandalous MTV moments.
