Someone Great is a breakup movie about a girl whose long-term boyfriend breaks up with her while she is moving to a different city to pursue a job as a music journalist.  The movie revolves around this girl having a day-out right after her breakup, with her two best friends before she leaves the city. What makes this movie so special is the beautiful bond that is shown between the couple as well as the lead characters best friends. 10 Things I Hate About You

10 Things I Hate About You, starring the lovely Heath Ledger, is a 90s RomCom with a very typical female lead (Kat) having no interest in dating. Ledger sets his eyes on her and tries to come up with a plan to sweep her off her feet. One of the most famous scenes of this movie is when Heath Ledger puts on a show in front of the entire school singing Can’t Take My Eyes Off You. All of this is executed with the help of Kat’s younger sister who is not allowed to date until her older sister does.

Love Actually

Love Actually is a two-hour long, London-based Christmas special movie showing the love lives of eight different couples who have interconnected storylines casting some of the biggest Hollywood stars. This movie released in 2003 starting with Hugh Grant’s voiceover talking about how the airport arrivals make him sad as you can see the pure love and affection from people and their friends and family as their loved ones arrive. 

La La Land

La La Land is based on an old-fashioned musical with its plot revolving around the struggle of artists wanting to make it big in the city of stars being Los Angeles. This has movie stars, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. Ryan is a pianist who plays Christmas songs at a club while Emma Stone plays the character of Mia, working as a barista in a coffee shop who is aspiring to be an actress. A number of setbacks occur during their journey to make it big in the city of stars while the two fall in love.

Crazy Stupid Love

Crazy Stupid love is again a movie with three different love stories tied together ranging from couples of different age groups. One is a relationship of a couple splitting after 25 years of being together. The second is Ryan Gosling’s as he tries to teach the now-divorced man the art of how to pick girls up while he ends up falling for someone himself. And the third relationship is that of a child who starts to fall for his babysitter while the babysitter is in love with that child’s father. 

Valentines Day

Valentine's Day is based on a number of couples dealing with their own individual life struggles on a Valentine's Day with Ashton Kutcher playing the role of a florist who asks his girlfriend, played by Jessica Alba, to marry him. One of the other leads meets a man on the airplane and starts getting attracted to him. She is coming back home on a leave from the military. 

A teacher of elementary kids falls in love with a doctor. Grace (played by Emma Roberts) plans on losing her virginity with her boyfriend while her two bestfriends decide to not have sex until their marriage. A group of adults who hate valentine's day get together to help a football player who has a big secret. The entire movie comes together as all of them find their own meaning of love.
